The CPS JumpRecorder is designed to allow an operator to manage, analyze, and visualize jump data from an accelerometer, gyroscope, altimeter, compass, temperature, and GPS (integrated precision receiver; high performance antenna). It’s small, wearable, rugged, network-ready, easily and safely integrated into existing systems, rechargeable, and requires minimal power.
Equipped with automated wake-up capability and compatible with both personnel and cargo parachutes, applications for the JumpRecorder typically include:
- Parachute jump training
- Test and Evaluation (T&E) of new parachute concepts
- After Action Reports (AAR)
- Black box for incident investigations
- Alternative for parachute load cell systems

The JumpRecorder stores up to 4GB of data which can be transferred via USB or Bluetooth and interpreted using Jumpview, an intuitive desktop or web-based interface.
