The Military CYPRES 2 1000/35 A is a versatile, dual-function Automatic Activation Device (AAD) recommended for solo operators carrying very light or no equipment.
Activation settings reflect the short opening distance of smaller tactical square parachutes:
- Activation altitude: approx. 1000 ft.
- Activation speed: approx. 35 m/s
The 1000/35 A can also be used for Military Tandem Tethered Bundle (MTTB) operations. Contact the Mobility Lab team for further assistance.
Two functions, one device:
- Training Mode: for all jumps at local dropzones; automatically calibrates to ground level (QFE) and monitors the parachuting activity.
- Operational Mode: for all jumps to a remote landing area; sets to the landing elevation using absolute air pressure (mbar/In.Hg).
